While Dr Fauci and President Biden slammed the Republicans for possessing "Neanderthal thinking", Texas reported an unbelievable milestone. Two months after repealing the mask and social distancing mandate, Texas saw a ray of hope with absolutely zero COVID-19 deaths in a day since March 2021.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott took to Twitter to show some stats about how the state has been progressing to combat COVID-19.

Texas reported 30,000 cases per day and more than 400 deaths a day earlier this year, but these deaths gradually slowed down in March after the authorities expanded the vaccine eligibility.

“Adding to this, the state reported a record low seven-day positivity rate of 3.9% last week, and cases and hospitalizations have fallen to their lowest marks since last summer.”
This decrease in numbers sure is a moment of relief for Texas!
