Historic Overturn of Rulings as Supreme Court Upholds Voting Regulations in Arizona

July 5, 2021

In a historic overturn of the ruling, the Supreme Court of Arizona upheld voting regulations in the State alleging that “the states’ restrictions discriminated against minorities.”

The Wall Street Journal captured Justice Samuel Alito’s comments saying that “Arizona has legal grounds to enforce rules that prohibit third parties from collecting mail-in ballots and disallow votes cast in the wrong precinct.”

“While democrats argued the regulations discriminated against Native Americans, Latinos and blacks, Arizona republican Attorney General Mark Brnovich and the state GOP defended the rules as neutral and reasonable.”

Republicans have forever stood against third-party ballot collection as it encourages voter fraud.

“Meanwhile, democrats argue that voters need help because they may have a lack of access to polling places or reliable mail service.’
